Mentorship in Beaumont
Independent School District

In 2016, R.E.E.S.A. launched a twice-weekly mentorship program for 5th-grade students within the Beaumont Independent School District, offering consistent support to help them grow both academically and personally. With structure, support, and encouragement, students gained skills that will carry them well beyond the classroom.

Here are some key highlights of our impact:

Mentorship and Life Skills

  • Led sessions focused on confidence-building, social skills, and responsibility

  • Helped students develop habits for success at school and beyond

Academic Support

  • Provided homework assistance and academic encouragement

  • Fostered stronger engagement in the classroom

Lasting Impact

  • Served students in one of Texas’s largest school districts, where additional mentorship is always needed

  • Created a safe, positive space for children to express themselves and grow
