Faith City Church 2024 Mission Trip to Africa

In 2024, R.E.E.S.A. joined Faith City Church of Katy, TX., on a powerful 10-day mission trip to Kenya focused on meeting urgent needs and sharing hope through action. From supporting orphanages to feeding programs and gospel crusades, the mission team stepped into communities with open hands and full hearts—ready to serve, learn, and uplift.

Every act of service during this mission was made possible through the support of our generous community in partnership with the Faith City Church family. Together, we were able to meet real needs, build meaningful connections, and sow seeds of lasting impact.

Here are some key highlights of our impact:

Community Outreach

  • Served over 500 children with hot meals and distributed flour and cabbage to over 300 adults at the Dumpsite in Nakuru, where many rely on incoming trash trucks to survive

  • Provided feminine hygiene products and personal care kits to over 600 teen girls

  • Visited and supported Reed of Hope Orphanage and New Creation Ministries Intl Bible School, which together care for over 20 orphans and help train pastors across 20+ nations

  • Visited Bethel International Ministries to support ongoing food programs, a water well for the community, and a youth cyber café, offering computer literacy training

  • Provided monthly supplies to widows and hosted a Family & Friends Day with local children

Spiritual and Cultural Exchange

  • Fostered deep, faith-based connections with local churches and believers

  • Preached at Deliverance Church Utawala, where 12 people gave their lives to Christ following the message “You Are Anointed for This.”

  • Celebrated 20 salvations during the Dumpsite Nakuru crusade, with testimonies of healing and deliverance

  • Honored by Emmanuel ACK Church Ponda-Mali with a special plaque after an outreach event with food, fellowship, and deep community impact

  • Encouraged ministry leaders during a special session at Deliverance Kiti Church and with the Local Pastor Fellowship

  • Revisited the home of a local woman whose sheet-metal house had been built with support from the team two years prior
