In partnership with community leaders in Roatan, Honduras, R.E.E.S.A. led a supply mission focused on supporting The Lighthouse Orphanage with essential resources and cultural connections.

Here are some key highlights of our impact:

Supply Distribution

  • Delivered school supplies, hygiene items, Bibles, and resources for children and adults

  • Ensured access to basic necessities for underserved families

Community Engagement

  • Visited local schools and villages to deepen relationships and cultural understanding

  • Shared meals, traditions, and meaningful dialogue with local residents

Spiritual and Cultural Support

  • Provided spiritual resources, including Bibles, to families seeking encouragement

  • Strengthened cultural bonds through direct immersion in Garifuna life and Honduran traditions

About Sandy Bay Lighthouse Ministries

Sandy Bay Lighthouse Ministries is a non-profit, non-denominational Christian organization that provides multi-faceted support for the underprivileged people of Roatan, Honduras. Among other missions, they provide full-time residential care, education, and spiritual development to children in need at the Greenfield Children’s Home, a family-centered environment designed to raise children in love, faith, and safety.
